Illustration 1 was a total kick in the testicles. But in a good way..... Ok...Take that comment anywayz you want.... Here are a couple examples of my work during the class.
Of all the assignments that we had in Illustration 1, I was the happiest with this Editorial Illustration of Julian Assange and his wiki-leaks . Happy that Chantal liked it so much as well. Merci beaucoup Chantal!

Clothed Figure Drawingzzz Deuce!
Now onto some Fall semester examples of Clothed Figure Drawing 2. Bill Sanchez was the instructor and also somewhat like a New York version of Buddha, that spits, uses foul language, and that says many inappropriate things in reference to no one of the class being mentally impaired. Personally, I love the dude. Gangsta!

Figure Drawing Workshop
I'm getting pretty antsy before summer school starts and decided to attend a workshop with my friend Lloyd during the "break". The class was instructed Michael Buffington Jr., who is a instructor at the Academy. These drawings were all 10 minutes and were done with prismacolor pencil on newsprint. I really like the feel of the prismacolor versus using conte crayon or compressed charcoal and kinda wish I have used it before.

Guacamole
I think i need a helmet...
These were both homework assignments for my oil painting class with Mark Elliot. Remember how I said I love how the time restraint of the in class paintings forces you to work fast with out overthinking... Well, that does not apply to these. I mean, I do like both of these alot and am proud of them, but there is something about each one that bugs me.
This one was my final for my oil painting class.
This was my first homework assignment.

Oil Paintings!
Sooooo... I was pretty excited about my oil painting class and was pretty happy with the outcome considering I have never used oil paints before in my life. All of these were done in the class and we had one class session to start and finish it. I love the time restraint because it really forces you to work fast without over thinking anything. Enjoy!
Effn RAGE!
FACE!
Another assignment using the historical character Bonnie Parker.
I was kinda dissapointed because not one person addressed that she was doing the ROBOT.
This was my first try at showing expressions. Ok... My first attempt at doing a drawing that showed expressions. I think everyone knows that the first comment is kinda B.S.

No one uses the term "Gangs'ta" anymore...
Clothed figure Drawings
These were among the many, MANY drawings that were done in my clothed figure drawing class. All the drawings range anywhere from 5 min. to 20 min. This class was full to the rim with talent and was just amazing to see everyone's growth. Chris Canga was the teacher and also part of the AAU alumni. It was always inspiring and motivating to hear of how he was in the exact same position as we were, as students. I'm looking forward to taking intermediate Clothed figure Drawing in the fall!
Perspetive.... All up in you FACE!
These were all from my perspective class with Joko Budiono. He seriously was the kindest teacher that I have ever had and never ceased to amaze me with the knowledge he handed down to his students. Also,.... this class was the most difficult class I have had so far. It pretty much kicked my ass, but in a good way.
Told you that you would run into Frankenstein again! This was actually for my Golden Section/Sacred Geometry class, but it is using 3 point perspective. I did the composition using what I learned in my Golden Section/Sacred Geometry class.... Ok.. Basically, I used ALOT of black magic spells along with a large amount of coffee. And NO... that is not a bong in my hand. Its a BEAKER!
Robots and monsters need groceries too...man!
Whatcha think Aliens do after kicking ass all day long?!
